I know the financial pressures of having a very demanding job that has set targets in order to make commission, I once held a position where I had to hit R2million in sales before I qualified to earn any commission, and only on every rand after that target was reached. I realised very quickly that had it not been for my incredible immediate boss and team workers who became friends, I wouldn't have enjoyed this position as much as I did. The truth is 99% of us are here to hustle and work hard, but that didn't always mean predictable income that covered budget. As an artist there are added expenses that need funding and I had to find a way to make money that was fair, also tried and tested.
